Sarge’s 14th Annual Dog Walk is planned for 9:00 am on Saturday, August 3, 2019.

With the help of our generous donors and volunteers, SARGE’S continues to save and place lost and abandoned animals of Haywood County. The annual Downtown Dog Walk is SARGE’S biggest fundraising event of the year and WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT to continue this lifesaving mission.

We are fortunate to live in a county with a shelter where a no-kill status has been achieved, and we at Sarge’s are working hard to keep it that way. There is so much more to be done to save more dogs and cats, please help us continue this important mission in our community and join us for this fun event.

Dog Walkers

This year, we’re offering a simplified pricing structure! For only $30 per person, you get your admission to the Dog Walk, admission for as many dogs as you want to walk, a bag full of goodies provided by our sponsors and an event bandanna for your pup!

You could also sign up as a Virtual Walker, so one of our volunteers to walk a Sarge’s dog in the Dog Walk!

Additional event shirts can also be purchased below; Adult sizes for $15 and Youth Large for $10!

Sponsors

Sponsorships are crucial to the success of the Dog Walk. The donations raised through the Annual Downtown Dog Walk help supply food, medical care, spay and neuter costs, and shelter for animals at our Adoption Center, and foster homes. This funding also supports local and long distance transport. Sponsors, both businesses and individuals, benefit from this community event. Sponsors donating more than $150 will have their names printed on the back of the T-shirts. More than 400 shirts were distributed at last year’s event! Individuals can sponsor in their name, in honor of a pet or person. Sponsors are mentioned in pre-event publicity and listed in a “thank you” ad in “The Mountaineer.” Sponsors will also be recognized on our website and Facebook page. Again, there will be vendor space provided at the Courthouse lawn where the walk begins and ends. You may sign up below or by using this document.
